Health & Safety - The Work at Height Regulations 2005 (as amended)

• New legislation limits the use of ladders. The regulations apply to all work at height where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury.
• Ladders should only be used when all viable safer alternatives have been considered.
• If your window cleaner is not compliant to WAHR as controller of the work you
  (building owner) can be prosecuted by the Health & Safety Executive.
• You must ensure that no work is done at height if it is safe and reasonably practicable to do it other that at height.
• The use of water fed poles as an alternative to ladders where possible to do so, is now seen as the accepted way of cleaning windows in harmony with recent Health & Safety legislation.

How Does It Work?

The operator brings up to 600litres of Pure Water to site in the tank of the mobile water treatment system. Glass and Carbon Fibre poles deliver Pure Water to the window via a double trim brush. 100% pure water made by the system produces cleaning results that are second to none. Pure Water possesses a strong urge to return to its former impure state, absorbing dirt left behind by the elements. The absence of detergents means no sticky residues are left, therefore windows do not soil as quickly, windows stay cleaner longer!
